Lost your pet?  Search your neighborhood.  Look on the local Animal Shelter websites, view the Stray and Adoptable pages.  Peruse the Lost & Found Page and look through the found animals.  Record your lost pet and upload it's picture, if desired.

Visit the Animal Shelter to view the strays. The Livingston County Humane Society may also have your animal, check with them as well.  Stop in every couple of days to look at new intakes. Descriptions of the same animal can vary from person to person.  Don't rely on a phone call to identify your pet. Remember, the more effort you make, the greater the chance of finding your pet.

Prevent your pet from getting lost. Keep your cats indoors at all times with safety collar and ID tags.  License your dogs, fit them with an ID, and leash them when outdoors. Tattooing and microchips are also helpful to ensure your pet's safe return home.
