Stray Animals
Strays are held for seven days, allowing the owner to claim the animal. After seven days the animal becomes the property of L.C.A.C. and may be available for public adoption. | Surrendered Animals
Animals that are turned over to L.C.A.C. by the owner may be available for immediate adoption. |
Adoptions
Adoptions are first come, first served basis. Animals will NOT be held for a potential adopter. Adopted animals must have a current rabies vaccine. In addition, adopted animals will be spayed or neutered prior to leaving.
** You must be over 18 years old to adopt an animal. A valid ID is required for any animal to be taken. All fees must be paid before an animal can be vaccinated and permitted to leave.

| Owner Redemptions
Every owner is responsible for all costs, including but not limited to, rabies vaccine, licenses, impound fees and board.
After the third offense a ticket will be issued and possible court fees.
Late Calls: There is an additional $20.00 fee for any animal that is picked up on weekends, holidays or during off hours. |
Dog Licensing
